The reason for the build
The important details should travel with the pet.
Who it is for
Pet owners who need a sitter, walker, drop-in, boarding option, or another trusted person in the care loop—and caregivers who want a clear way to offer services.
What it does
PawPass keeps a private pet card for routines, care notes, reminders, records, and handoff details, then gives owners and caregivers an explicit marketplace path for services, area, availability, pet fit, rates, and trust signals.
Why we made it
Pet care gets scattered across texts, memory, paper notes, and separate calendars when a pet changes hands. PawPass keeps the important context attached to the pet and makes the next connection easier to coordinate.
What feels different
The private pet card stays local-first and account-free. Marketplace access is a separate boundary, sharing is deliberate, accepted conversations are participant-only, and meetup markers point to public places instead of private addresses.

MapKit-powered place selection keeps a meetup useful without exposing a private home address as part of the connection.

Requests, accepted connections, participant-only chat, caregiver details, and follow-up records give the relationship somewhere to live.
A deliberate boundary
The private record and the marketplace should not blur together.
The core pet card is local-first and account-free. Nothing is silently published or attached to a marketplace request; the owner chooses what belongs in a handoff.
Marketplace identity uses Sign in with Apple, accepted connections open participant-only conversation and a public meetup place, and physical-care payment remains outside the current release scope.
Status and attribution
PawPass is an independent BishopTech native iOS project. The screenshots show current native iPhone surfaces for onboarding, marketplace discovery, caregiver setup, and an accepted private conversation. The local pet card and handoff flow are implemented; marketplace backend, physical-device, payment, and release validation gates remain part of the product’s release path.
