Ascend Flow is an open-source iOS conversation companion for moments when a person wants a little structure without handing the conversation over to a chatbot.
The public repository includes the iOS source, Meta Device Access Toolkit setup, gateway notes, privacy documentation, and an MIT license.
What is actually in the build
A phone-first companion with an optional wearable surface.
Phone-first input
The iPhone owns the user-started microphone session, on-device speech recognition, rolling context, and conversation history.
Glanceable output
Short suggestions, listening status, Rapid Node prompts, and Vibe Check cards can be sent to a compatible Meta display through DAT.
Clear privacy boundary
The local path works without an OpenAI key. Optional network coaching sends transcript text—not microphone audio—to the configured gateway.

The repository documents conversation modes for casual conversations, one-on-ones, networking, sales, work meetings, doctor visits, social confidence, and Vibe Check. Suggestions are prompts for the person using the app—not a diagnosis, a promise of a social outcome, or a replacement for judgment.

Ascend Flow is an independent BishopTech project. Meta, Meta AI, and Ray-Ban are trademarks of their respective owners; this project is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta. The phone-only path is the reliable baseline, while physical-device, Meta registration, and release-channel testing remain part of the project’s validation checklist.
